Around 2017 I began my journey through yoga. I practiced Hatha Yoga for the first year and since then I've noticed great changes and benefits, especially on a mental level. My curiosity and desire to continue discovering and learning led me to train as a yoga teacher in 2019.

Within this wonderful path, and without thinking, I started practicing the Ashtanga Yoga method in a self-taught way, and that's when I realized where I wanted to direct my path, where I felt free, within a system that always follows the same series and postures, however, within them, there is an infinity of nuances where the practitioner adapts their practice according to their physical-mental condition.

From that moment on, I made a few trips to India, where I got to know the culture better and became even more passionate and curious about this journey of self-knowledge.
It was in 2020 that I met Sérgio Ramos, my teacher, and founder of this beautiful project that is Ashtanga Yoga Porto, where I continued to explore and expand on this path.
I have been a regular practitioner of the traditional method of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga for over 4 years. 
As a result of my regular practice and my interest in diving deep into yoga knowledge, in 2023 I traveled to India for the first time, to study in Mysore and practice under the watchful eye of R. Sharath Jois.

Ashtanga yoga has changed the way I look at life, brought me discipline, and with daily practice a greater connection with myself and everything around me.

I've also had the opportunity to study and practice with several renowned national and international teachers, on one or more occasions. I believe that these teachers have contributed to my knowledge and experience, both in my practice and in the way I embrace Traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Mysore Style teaching.

In 2024 I felt deeply about embracing this Project (Ashtanga Yoga Porto) where I intend to continue the traditional Ashtanga yoga program and develop a personalized accompaniment with the aim and objective of accompanying the student throughout the process for its correct execution and transmission of the method.
In my opinion, this system is a great tool for healing, self-knowledge, and personal development.
Practice is the best way to find yourself and I feel extremely grateful to be able to share this wonderful experience, with humility, devotion, and perseverance, so that I can continue to learn and pass on the teachings of Sri.K. Patthabi Jois with respect.
